The total fees for the course include a tuition fee of A$12,000, an enrolment fee of A$200, and a material fee of A$1,750.
Yes, work placement is a compulsory component of the course. The college will organise 120 hours of compulsory work placement for students.
Before commencing work placement, learners are required to provide a Federal Police Check (name check) no more than 6 months old, an NDIS Worker Screening Check when required, and evidence of up-to-date vaccination as required.
After completing the Certificate III in Individual Support, individuals may undertake the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
Training and assessment are conducted face-to-face, both in the classroom and in a simulated environment, as well as in the workplace. Assessment methods include written work, project, logbook/third party report and observations.
