The total course cost is AUD 17,750, which includes a Tuition Fee of AUD 16,000, an Enrollment Fee of AUD 250, and a Material Fee of AUD 1,500.
All students enrolled in this course must undertake 120 hours of vocational (work) placement as part of the course requirements.
Assessments may include short written knowledge tests, discussions and oral communication demonstrations, case study exercises, written reports, web-based research and reports, final projects, and final written exams. Students will likely need to work on assessments outside of class time.
Yes, students who have completed relevant studies or have some of the competencies in the course may apply for RPL. Applications can be made with the initial application or within two weeks of course commencement using the RPL Application Form and supporting documents. Note that RPL cannot result in an international student having less than a full-time load of study (20 hours per week), but can reduce the overall duration of the course and fees.
Students who complete the Certificate III in Individual Support may wish to continue their education into the CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services as an academic pathway.
