The course runs for 19 weeks full-time on campus at the Chadstone Campus, with intakes available in February and July.
Yes, the program includes 4 weeks of industry placement across aged care and disability support settings. The placement is organised and supported by Holmesglen trainers, helping students gain real-world experience and workplace confidence.
Indicative tuition fees are: Full Fee AUD 9,639; Government Subsidised AUD 5,434; Concession AUD 1,087; and Free TAFE eligible students may receive free tuition. Additional fees may apply for uniforms, screening checks, vaccinations, and placement requirements.
Graduates may continue into CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health, CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services, or HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing.
Before commencing placement, students may be required to provide a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, evidence of vaccinations and immunisation requirements, and proof of age (18 years or older). Students must also complete literacy, numeracy, and pre-training assessments before enrolment.
