Both domestic and international students attending full-time are required to attend face-to-face classes and practical workshops Monday to Friday on campus, with a compulsory 75% attendance requirement. InTech operates on a 10-week term with 4 terms per year, and all classes are scheduled for 20 hours per week.
Yes, InTech offers RPL for this qualification. To successfully achieve an RPL, you must be able to demonstrate your skills towards each unit of competency and show work currency to ensure it aligns with current industry standards. Evidence required includes a portfolio of evidence, prior qualifications, employment history, visual evidence, work samples, references, and potentially practical or written/verbal testing. InTech will provide initial feedback on the RPL at no cost to determine your success rate and any skills gaps.
Upon completion of the Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, students can progress onto the next level of qualification within the college, including AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis, AUR40820 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Overhauling, or other relevant qualifications. Credits may also include units of competency contained within relevant skill sets and statements of attainment.
Yes, students are encouraged to seek industry work placement to gain the maximum benefit from the course. This is an opportunity to apply and practice the skills acquired in a formal work environment and improve capabilities. InTech may assist in securing industry work placements — conditions apply. International students will have the opportunity to complete on-the-job placements as part of their program, and there is also an opportunity for an 18-month post-study work visa.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
