The course duration is 78 weeks, including 60 weeks of study and 18 weeks of holidays. Duration may vary if the student has applied for advanced standing and been granted credit transfer (CT).
Tuition fees are AU$16,500 for both international and domestic students. Additional mandatory fees include a Resource fee of AU$1,500 and a Material fee of AU$100. An Enrolment Fee of AU$250 (non-tuition fee) is also payable at the time of enrolment. International students are also required to hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa.
Graduates of the AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology may pursue careers as a Motor Mechanic (General) or an Automotive Light Vehicle Mechanical Repair Technician. They may also progress to further study such as the AUR40226 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or other relevant qualifications.
