Common Questions
Domestic students (full-time) pay $10,000, which includes PPE, training and assessment resources. International students pay $18,000, which includes PPE, training and assessment resources but excludes OSHC, visa fees and accommodation. On-the-job learners and RPL students should contact the institution for a quote. A payment plan is available, allowing students to pay per semester or in monthly instalments.
Yes, international students are welcome to enrol in this course. They will complete the program on campus through practical training and assessment as well as on-the-job placements. Upon completion, there is an opportunity for an 18-month post-study work visa, which makes the student job-ready. International students must demonstrate minimum English language proficiency and satisfy visa requirements as determined by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.
Intech Institute offers a range of study options including: full-time on campus (for domestic and international students), full-time on-the-job training (for trade workers only), RPL for existing skills (for those who have worked in the industry), apprenticeships and traineeships (for domestic students only), and QLD Government Subsidised RPL and Gap Training (for QLD residents only).
Students will develop practical and hands-on skills in a simulated workplace environment, covering workplace safety in an automotive workplace, identifying automotive faults, servicing operations, diagnostic procedures, using and maintaining tools, and diagnosing and repairing various mobile plant equipment including steering, suspension, brakes, hydraulics, fuel injection, engines, and emission control systems.
Yes. RPL is a process of having your knowledge, work experience and skills formally assessed for the purpose of gaining a nationally recognised qualification. RPL is a cheaper and faster alternative to full-time study, and it gives overseas skilled workers the opportunity to transfer their overseas experience into an Australian qualification. Candidates must provide a portfolio of evidence including prior qualifications, employment history, visual evidence, work samples, references, and may also undertake practical or written/verbal testing. InTech will provide initial feedback on the RPL at no cost to help determine your success rate and any skills gaps.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
