The program is delivered over 104 weeks (holiday inclusive) with 20 contact hours per week, which includes theory education in the classroom and practical training in the fully equipped workshop facility. Students are also advised to do approximately 10 hours per week of unstructured learning.
The tuition fee for the CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating is $35,000 AUD, with a non-tuition fee of $7,350 AUD. Everthought also advises you to contact them for a promotional pricelist.
The course is available at two campuses: the Brisbane campus at Building 4 / 460-492 Beaudesert Road, Salisbury, Queensland 4107, and the Melbourne campus at Level 1, 287-313 Macaulay Road, North Melbourne, VIC 3051. Training is delivered face-to-face in purpose-designed facilities with hands-on, practical training by accredited, trade trainer/assessors with current industry experience.
Yes. Learners may be able to reduce the number of units to be studied through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer. If students have previously completed a unit with the same unit code or unit title, they may be eligible for a Credit Transfer. Students may apply for RPL if they can demonstrate that their work and life experiences match one or more of the units in which they have enrolled. Applications for both RPL and credit transfer must be made prior to the commencement of the course, and there is a fee for each process.
Applicants must provide evidence of IELTS Academic or General band 6 overall (or equivalent), completed within 2 years from the application date. Equivalent tests accepted include TOEFL iBT (67), Pearson Test of English Academic (47), CELPIP General (band 7), and others. Applicants with IELTS 5.5 may enrol with 10 weeks of ELICOS, or with IELTS 5.0 with 20 weeks of ELICOS. Exemptions apply for those who have studied at least 5 years in English in specified countries, are citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand or Ireland, or have recently completed qualifying study in Australia.
