The course duration is 66 weeks, including 16 weeks of scheduled breaks.
Applicants must achieve an IELTS Test Score of 6.0 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old). Applicants with an IELTS score less than 6.0 need to package their enrolment with the required amount of English ELICOS study. Exemptions apply for foreign Affairs or Defence sponsored students, those who have completed at least 5 years of study in English in designated countries, or those who have successfully passed the Ruby Institute English Placement Test or completed General English at Advanced level.
The CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating requires completion of 29 units, including 26 core units and 3 elective units.

Yes. Ruby Institute can grant credit towards your course for units of competency or modules already completed with another RTO or authorised issuing organisation, where equivalence can be established. Additionally, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for skills and knowledge gained through work and life experience. You should ideally apply for RPL at the time of enrolment, but may also apply up to 2 weeks into your course.
