Yes, it is mandatory to complete work placement hours to be eligible for attainment of this qualification. To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 35 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.
You must demonstrate an English level of IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5, or an equivalent qualification such as IBT 60, PTE 50, CAE 169, OET B, General English Advanced or equivalent, MOI Certificate, Duolingo 95, MET, LANGUAGECERT Academic, CELPIP General, or a Certificate IV or higher qualification with an Australian institution.
Assessment methods used throughout the course include written questions or reports, practical activities or projects, case study analysis, observation during practical sessions or workplace activities, and supervised work placement where applicable.
Learners who partially complete the qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units they are deemed competent.
