For eligible subsidised students, the Participant Course Fee is $459.00 AUD, the Participant Concession Fee is $434.50 AUD, and there is an additional Incidental Fee of $281 AUD.
Yes, the qualification includes 12 shifts (complete food service periods), equivalent to approximately 90 hours, to be undertaken in Alliance College's training café.
Students may progress to SIT40721 – Certificate IV in Patisserie and/or SIT40521 – Certificate IV in Kitchen Management after completing this course.
Students require a personal computer capable of being connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, a personal email address, a mobile phone, Microsoft Office suite, microphone and camera, home internet access with good speed for video calls, Teams software, a full commercial cookery uniform (included in material fee), and a full knife kit (included in material fee).
The course duration is 52 weeks, including 12 weeks of holiday, and is delivered through face-to-face classroom and kitchen-based training, internal placement, and self-directed learning at the Adelaide campus.
