Oban College delivers the CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering at two campuses: Level 2, 11 Parkes St, Harris Park NSW 2150 (Sydney) and Suite 1, 16-18 Aberdeen St, Perth WA 6000 (Perth).
The course duration is 52 weeks in total, comprising 40 teaching weeks and 12 weeks of holidays, delivered face to face.
Students must have English Proficiency or demonstrate it as per Oban College's English Proficiency Policy and Procedure. Accepted evidence includes IELTS 6.0, PTE 50, General English Advanced or equivalent, Duolingo 95, or the Oban College internal English test.
The course consists of 20 units in total — 15 core units and 5 elective units. Core units cover areas such as WHS, workplace communication, measurements, solid plastering materials, tools, surface preparation, rendering, and restoration, while elective units include topics such as working safely at heights and investigating business opportunities.
Upon completing the CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering, graduates may work in occupational roles including Solid Plasterer and Renderer, applying plaster, cement and other mixtures to walls to create smooth or decorative finishes on interior walls and rendering exterior walls in both residential and commercial construction.
