Common Questions
The course runs for 54 weeks in total, which includes 48 study weeks and 4 weeks of holidays.
To enrol, you must be 18 years of age or above, hold a minimum IELTS band score of 6.0 or equivalent, and have schooling equivalent to Australian Year XII. You are also required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test prior to course commencement.
This is a competency-based qualification. Assessment will continue throughout the delivery and assessment timetable until the student either achieves competency or a further training need is identified and addressed. Assessment methods include Practical Observations, Written Questions, Case Study, and Project.
The course is delivered face-to-face in a classroom setting (theory and practical) at Level 9, 601 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
This qualification provides a trade outcome in solid plastering for residential and commercial work. Occupational titles may include Solid Plasterer and Renderer.
