To achieve the CPC31020 Certificate III in Solid Plastering, a total of 20 units must be completed, comprising 15 core units and 5 elective units.
The course runs for 52 weeks and costs $28,000. It is delivered in a blended delivery model across NTCA's Melbourne Campus at Level 11, 190 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, with workshop facilities at 235 Ingles Street, Port Melbourne 3207.
The target group for this program is international students aged 18 years and above who wish to enter the construction industry as a plasterer or renderer. Applicants must have completed Australian Year 12 or equivalent, achieve a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent, and meet course-relevant Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) capabilities prior to commencement.
Upon successful completion, graduates may seek employment as a Solid Plasterer or Renderer. They may also progress to further study such as the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Builder), the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), or other trade or building-related diplomas.
Yes. Credit transfer is available for students who have completed equivalent qualifications, and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for candidates who have previously attained skills and knowledge from outside the formal education and training system, including work and life experience. Students may apply for RPL or Credit transfers for any unit in which they can successfully demonstrate competency.
