The course is delivered through blended learning, comprising 15 hours per week of face-to-face classroom instruction and workshop practicals, plus 5 hours per week of structured online or directed learning activities, along with additional self-paced study and project work. Flexible timetabling options including morning, evening, or weekend classes are available subject to availability.
Students receive hands-on training in simulated or real construction environments, with access to specialist wall and floor tiling workshops, industry-standard tiling tools and equipment, waterproofing systems and tiling materials, PPE and safety equipment, and trainer support and learning resources aligned with industry standards. Training is delivered by qualified trainers and assessors with industry experience.
Yes. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for candidates with relevant industry experience and verifiable evidence, and Credit Transfer is granted for equivalent units previously completed as part of other nationally recognised qualifications. All applications should be submitted prior to or at enrolment, and RPL assessments may incur additional fees.
Graduates may progress to further study including CPC40120 – Certificate IV in Building and Construction, CPC50220 – Diploma of Building and Construction (Building), or other construction, trade supervision, or business qualifications. This qualification also supports pathways into licensed trade work, supervisory roles, or self-employment within the construction industry.
