There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
English Requirements: IELTS 6.0 (Minimum Score in Each Module 5.5) or equivalent.
Age: 18 years of age at the time of application.
Education: Year 12 or equivalent successfully completed.
LLN: Internet-based Language, Literacy and Numeracy test to ensure that you have the fundamental skills to complete this qualification.
PTR: Pre-Training Review is an assessment of your past learning, experience and skill development to ensure that you can understand the concepts delivered in this qualification.
Computer: You should possess sound computer skills, ability to navigate internet and use various software tools to study, produce Assessments and absorb the training material.
Work Placement: Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.

What are the English language requirements for this course?

After completing the Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, students can progress to further qualifications including CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, CPC40320 Certificate IV in Building Project Support, CPC40820 Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Building, CPC40920 Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services, and CPC41020 Certificate IV in Demolition.

Can I receive credit transfer for units I have already completed?

If you have previously completed a unit with the same unit code or unit title as in your new course, you may be eligible for a Credit Transfer and you may not have to repeat that unit. You will need to complete a Credit Transfer application form and provide a certified copy of the transcript of statement of attainment. Applications for Credit Transfer must be made prior to the commencement of the course.

Students may be assessed using a variety of methods including Written Assessments, Presentations, Projects/Reports, Case Study/Scenarios/Third party reports, and Observation in a simulated or actual work environment (via third party reports and observation checklists).
