Common Questions
International students are required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.5 in each module, or an equivalent English language qualification.
The Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling is offered at three campus locations: Melbourne (L 5, 341 Queen Street), Sydney (L 1, 54 Parramatta Road, Forest Lodge), and Adelaide (L 3, 45 Grenfell Street). The course is delivered through a combination of Classroom, Practical Workshop, Work Placement, and Online modes.
After completing the Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, students can progress to further qualifications including CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, CPC40320 Certificate IV in Building Project Support, CPC40820 Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Building, CPC40920 Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services, and CPC41020 Certificate IV in Demolition.
If you have previously completed a unit with the same unit code or unit title as in your new course, you may be eligible for a Credit Transfer and you may not have to repeat that unit. You will need to complete a Credit Transfer application form and provide a certified copy of the transcript of statement of attainment. Applications for Credit Transfer must be made prior to the commencement of the course.
Students may be assessed using a variety of methods including Written Assessments, Presentations, Projects/Reports, Case Study/Scenarios/Third party reports, and Observation in a simulated or actual work environment (via third party reports and observation checklists).
