Common Questions
The course fee for international students is $9,350 - $10,250 AUD. Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from $300 - $1,000 AUD per course.
During the course you will learn to use software systems such as MYOB, Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as cloud computing tools for business.
On completion of the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, you could prepare for roles such as Accounts Payable Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer, BAS Agent - Bookkeeper, and Payroll Officer.
After completing the Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, you can advance your existing knowledge with the Diploma of Applied Commerce, master your skills with a TAFE NSW Degree - Bachelor of Applied Commerce, or pursue TAFE NSW–university partnership pathways that offer guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students. On completion, you will also be automatically credited with the subject Foundations of Accounting (ACBUS103A) in the Bachelor of Applied Commerce.
You will need to complete 10 core units plus 3 elective units, of which at least 2 must be from the elective units listed. TAFE NSW also offers 5 packaged specialty units as additional units tailored to meet industry demands.
