The total course fee is AUD $10,800, plus a non-refundable enrolment fee of $300 to be paid on application. Non-tuition fees may also apply and can be found at www.ctic.com.au. Course fees do not include computer software or textbooks, which are to be purchased at the student's own cost.
Persons providing a BAS service for a fee or other reward must be registered by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB), and this qualification is currently cited as meeting the TPB education requirements for registration as a BAS agent. Other requirements apply, including a designated period of experience. Persons seeking BAS agent registration should check current registration requirements with the TPB, as registration requirements are reviewed regularly.
Assessment methods used for this qualification will provide a range of ways for individuals to demonstrate that they have met the required outcomes, including projects, presentations, report writing, observations, and questioning (oral or written). At the beginning of each unit, trainers will outline the assessment tasks that must be completed.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting or into a range of other Diploma level qualifications.
Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning) as per the information included in the International Student Pre-enrolment Information Handbook. For international students, the granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course, and any changes will be advised in writing.
