Process financial transactions and extract interim reports
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to prepare and process routine financial documents, prepare journal entries, post journal entries to ledgers, prepare banking and reconcile financial receipts, and extract a trial balance and interim reports.

Common Questions
Successful completion of this course meets the Tax Practitioners Board academic requirements for registration as a BAS agent; however, additional experience requirements also apply.
The full fee for the course is $6,970. A subsidised fee of $4,890 is available for eligible students through government funding, a concession fee of $4,265 may apply for eligible students, and eligible students may pay $0 through the Fee-Free TAFE government initiative.
The course is available on campus (with some online delivery) at Bracken Ridge, Caboolture, Loganlea, Mt Gravatt, and South Bank in Greater Brisbane, as well as Sunshine Coast and Wide Bay Burnett locations. It is also available fully online via an online virtual classroom or online self-directed study. Apprenticeships and traineeships are also available.
The course can be completed in 6 months full time (4 days per week on campus, or 3 x 5 hour Zoom sessions per week plus up to 20 hours of self-directed study online), or 18 months part time (up to 2 nights per week).
Yes, up to 5 units may be able to be brought across after successful completion of FNS30322 Certificate III in Accounts Administration.
