The tuition fee for this course is A$13,000, with an additional non-tuition fee of $450. Course fees do not include computer software or textbooks, which must be purchased at the student's own cost. This course is delivered 20 hours a week using both online and face-to-face learning environments. Face-to-face learning is a classroom-based setting which includes the simulation of the workplace-based environment, while the online learning component is 1/3 of the course and is delivered via a Learning Management System (LMS). Students can access the LMS using their own username and password.
Students who complete the FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping may wish to further their study into the FNS50222 Diploma of Accounting.
The FNS40222 Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping requires the successful completion of ten (10) core units and three (3) elective units, totalling 13 units. Assessment methods include a combination of essays, report writing, projects, portfolios, observations, presentations, and questioning (oral or written).
Yes, students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience through credit transfer or recognition of prior learning. For international students, the granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course. The result of an application for credit and any changes to fees or course duration will be advised to students in writing. If course credit is granted following the issuance of the Confirmation of Enrolment, students will receive a new Confirmation of Enrolment showing a reduced duration.
