Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)

There are two streams available: the Aircraft Maintenance Stream, which requires twelve (12) core common and imported units and thirteen (13) elective technical stream units from Group A for a total of twenty-five (25) units; and the Component Maintenance Workshop Stream, which requires thirteen (13) core common and imported units and three (3) elective technical stream units from Group B for a total of sixteen (16) units.

This qualification articulates with the MEA50118 Diploma of Aeroskills (Avionics), which aligns with the CASR Part 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.

The Initial RPL report costs $770 (including GST), and the Final RPL report costs $1,090 (GST exempt).

You should submit documents such as your resume, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licenses (local and/or foreign), company authorisations/approvals, letters of endorsement of privileges exercised (QA), Australian (VET) Qualifications and Statements of Attainment, Part 66 theory results from Approved Part 147 organisations, CASA Basics (CAR31) exam results, licensing exam results, workplace service letters, trade certificates and qualifications, training certificates, qualification certificates, and company training records. Please do not upload any practical logbooks (SOE/JOE) as part of your Initial RPL application.

This qualification may apply to either aircraft maintenance performed on flight lines/ramps and in hangars, or to avionic component repair and overhaul performed in workshops.
