The qualification is delivered over 52 weeks, including 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 4 terms of 10 weeks each and 12 weeks of holidays.
Yes, the qualification requires that a work placement of at least 120 hours is completed as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
International students must have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, successful completion of an English Placement Test at IELTS level 6.0, or equivalent results in other accepted tests such as PTE and TOEFL.
The course fee is $11,900, with an additional Enrolment Fee of $200 and a Material Fee of $1,000. Please note that intake dates and course fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services or a range of other community services qualifications.
