The classroom-based delivery is offered as 43 weeks full time (standalone). Alternatively, students can enrol in a package combining the Certificate III in Individual Support and Certificate IV in Ageing Support, which runs for 88–94 weeks.
For the standalone 43-week option (Fee for Service), the Administration Fee is $100.00, Resource Fees are $200.00, and Tuition Fees are $11,000.00. For the packaged option combining Certificate III Individual Support and Certificate IV Ageing Support, the Administration Fee is $100.00, Resource Fees are $400.00, and Tuition Fees are $17,000.00.
Student visa applicants must provide results from an accepted English language test. The minimum required scores are: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 64, PTE Academic 50, or CAE 169. For further advice or assistance, prospective students should contact the International Student Manager.
Yes, the classroom-based delivery includes 120 hours of vocational placement. Before undertaking work placement, students must undergo a working police check and have a valid blue card. For further information, students can visit bluecard.qld.gov.au.
After successfully completing this qualification, students may have the opportunity to progress into CHC52015 – Diploma of Community Services.
