This qualification could help you prepare for roles such as aged care worker, community care worker, direct care worker, home care planner, home care support worker, personal care worker, and residential care worker.
The course requires you to complete 15 core units and 3 elective units. The elective units must consist of at least 2 units from the electives listed, up to 1 unit from electives listed from any endorsed Training Package or accredited course, and these units must be relevant to the work outcome.
After completing the Certificate IV in Ageing Support, you can continue your studies through a vocational study pathway with a range of TAFE NSW courses, a TAFE NSW degree pathway progressing from certificates to diplomas to a TAFE NSW degree, TAFE NSW–university partnership pathways that offer guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students at a number of Australian universities, or other university pathways where acceptance and credit transfer may vary depending on the university and course studied.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
