Yes, to achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work placement. Practical training and assessment may be offered in a range of approved and accredited Aged Care facilities in Melbourne.
International students must meet an English requirement of IELTS 6.0 or PTE 52 or equivalent.
The tuition fee for the course is $18,810. International students must attend classes for 20 hours a week and are also expected to complete a certain amount of independent study each week.
Assessment methods may include written questions, case studies, role plays, classroom projects, simulated assessments, workplace projects, as well as practical training and assessment in Aged Care Facilities.
