To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
International students must have an IELTS Academic score of 6.0 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old). Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted, provided results are confirmed as equivalent to IELTS 6.0. Students may be exempt if they were educated for 5 years in an English speaking country, have completed at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO, have successfully completed an English Placement Test and Digital Literacy Test, have completed a foundation course in Australia, or have completed their High School in English Language.
