The total fees for the Certificate IV in Ageing Support include a tuition fee of A$12,000, an enrolment fee of A$250, and a material fee of A$1,750.
Yes, the college will organise 120 hours of compulsory work placement as part of the Certificate IV in Ageing Support. Before commencing work placement, learners are required to provide a Federal Police Check (no more than 6 months old), an NDIS Worker Screening Check when required, and evidence of up-to-date vaccination as required.
After completing the Certificate IV in Ageing Support, individuals may undertake the CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services as a further study pathway.
Yes, AIDT recognises AQF and VET qualifications, as well as Statements of Attainment issued by other RTOs, and students may apply for course credit which may reduce the course duration. Additionally, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) acknowledges a student's previous formal or informal learning, work, and life experience relevant to the course outcomes — students who believe they already hold certain competencies may apply for RPL by submitting an application with supporting evidence that aligns with each Unit of Competency.
Students must achieve competency in all 18 units listed — comprising 15 core units and 3 elective units — to successfully complete the CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support qualification.
