Certificate IV in Ageing Support

Course Overview

About This Course

This qualification reflects the role of support workers who carry out specialised tasks and functions in aged care services across residential, home, or community-based settings. These workers operate within established organisational guidelines, taking responsibility for their own performance and ensuring high-quality service delivery through the development, facilitation, and review of individualised care plans. In some cases, workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and take limited responsibility for the supervision and output quality of others, within defined parameters. This program is delivered and assessed through a combination of classroom-based learning, simulated industry workplace activities, and supervised online study. Learners are also expected to complete approximately 10 hours per week of unsupervised study, including reading, research, and revision of previous lessons. Campuses: Parramatta, Perth. Delivery Mode: Blended (Face to Face + Online). Duration: 52 Weeks.

Hear From the Students

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful β€” never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
