The total fees for the Certificate IV in Ageing Support are AUD 18,250, which includes a Tuition Fee of AUD 16,000, an Enrolment Fee of AUD 250, and a Material Fee of AUD 2,000.
Yes, all students enrolled in this course must undertake 120 hours of work placement at an approved venue as part of the qualification requirements.
International students must have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of being educated for 5 years in an English speaking country, completing at least 6 months of a Certificate III level course in an Australian RTO, or successful completion of an English Placement Test. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL may also be accepted if equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
Students who complete the Certificate IV in Ageing Support may wish to continue their education into the CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services and a range of other related community services qualifications.
Assessments may include short written knowledge tests, discussions and oral communication demonstrations, case study exercises, written reports, web-based research and reports, final projects, and final written exams. Students will likely need to work on assessments outside of class time to perform at their best.
