The total fees for the course are: Tuition Fee AUD $5,500, Admin Fee AUD $300.00, and Resource Fee AUD $500.00. The Resource Fee ensures students receive printed notes, learning material and access to Wi-Fi for the duration of their course.
All units of competence will be assessed using a selection of tools including projects incorporating role-plays, case studies, observations and short answer questions, practical training and assessment completed in a training workshop, and written and oral questions.
Yes. RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) is the assessment process for recognising competencies gained through previous learning, work, and life experiences. Students who have completed any of the subjects or have practical experience that can be used for RPL can contact VCI prior to enrolment. Candidates are required to provide evidence that is valid, authentic, current and sufficient.
Those undertaking the Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis must have completed an automotive mechanical Certificate III qualification, or be able to demonstrate equivalent competency.
You can pay using cash or EFTPOS in person at VCI's campus, credit card (Visa or MasterCard) via PayPal on the student invoice (a 2% surcharge applies), bank draft or money order payable to 'Vocational Careers Institute', or electronic bank transfer (Telegraphic Transfer) from an overseas bank account to VCI's Commonwealth Bank account.
