The course duration is 26 weeks. One (1) Semester = 26 weeks each, consisting of 2 (2) Terms of Study = 10 weeks each, plus a Three (3) week break at the end of each Term = 6 weeks.

Yes. Academic Requirements include successful completion of Year 11 (High School Certificate (HSC) OR equivalent) OR a Certificate III OR equivalent OR be a mature age, AND Completion of AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
Assessment for each unit of competency will be through a combination of classroom based and work placement tasks. Classroom based assessments include but are not limited to: Classroom Exercises, Assignments, Practical Demonstrations, Group Activities, Projects, Verbal and/or Written Questions. Students may be assessed by a combination of continuous assessments and examinations.
Successful completion of the AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis, candidates may choose to undertake AUR50116 Diploma of Automotive Management or other relevant qualifications.
