Common Questions
The course runs for 30 weeks. The tuition fee is $9,000, with a non-tuition fee of $750, bringing the total cost to $9,750.
The course is delivered fully on-campus in a full-time capacity. Students must attend a minimum of 20 hours of scheduled training and assessment each week, comprising 16 hours of face-to-face classroom-based training and 4 hours of scheduled, supervised workshop training and assessment. Attendance is compulsory and students are expected to maintain 100% attendance.
Assessment methods include oral and written tests, practical demonstrations, group and individual projects, and case-based tasks. Progress is assessed through a blend of theory and hands-on practical activities in simulated automotive workshop environments.
Yes. You can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to recognise your prior learning, work experience, and coursework towards this qualification. Detailed information is available on the AISHE website at www.aishe.edu.au. Credit Transfer is also available for relevant prior study.
The course covers advanced diagnostic techniques, complex system fault analysis, high-voltage battery systems (including hybrid and battery electric vehicles), engine management systems, safety and braking systems, and diagnostic strategy development. Students will also gain skills in working with light vehicle petrol and diesel engines, steering and suspension systems, air conditioning and HVAC systems, and can select electives covering heavy commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and mobile plant equipment.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful โ never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
