Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis

The total course cost is $7,200, which includes a tuition fee of $6,000, a non-refundable application fee of $500, resources (textbooks) of $200, and a Student Kit (Uniform Kit) of $500. Overseas Student Health Cover is approximately $550 per annum for individuals or $5,000 per annum for families.

Assessment methods may include observations, case studies, projects, assignments, presentations, role play, quizzes, supervised assessment, and practical observation.

Students may be able to shorten the length of their chosen course by measuring skills acquired through professional work experiences or qualifications obtained from formal studies or training. All claims for RPL and Credit Transfer should be made upon enrolment in the course and must be received by the Administration within two (2) weeks of the commencement.

On successful completion of this course you will be awarded with AUR40216 Certificate IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency within this qualification will receive a Statement of Attainment.

After achieving the AUR40216 Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis, candidates may choose to undertake AUR50216 Diploma of Automotive Technology or other relevant qualifications at diploma level.
