The total course fees are $12,500, which includes a Tuition Fee of $11,000, a Material Fee of $1,250, and an Application Fee of $250.
The course runs for 44 weeks in total, comprising 32 weeks of delivery and 12 weeks of holidays. Students are required to attend a minimum of 20 scheduled course contact hours per week.
Students must complete 19 units of competency in total — 11 core units and 8 elective units — over a total volume of learning of 700 hours, which includes 336 learning hours, 304 assessment hours, and 60 hours of independent study, work on assignments, and research.
After successfully achieving the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40120), candidates may undertake the CPC50220 - Diploma of Building and Construction (Building).
All assessments are conducted according to the assessment guidelines and competency standards of the official Training Package for this qualification. Assessment methods include practical demonstrations, projects, and knowledge tests, among others.
