The Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40120) has a duration of 40 weeks, delivered at NTCA's Melbourne Campus and Workshop Facility.
Applicants must have a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent, and must also meet course-relevant Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) capabilities prior to commencement. Where applicants are unable to demonstrate LLND capabilities through valid credentials, NTCA will assess these through an LLND assessment.
Yes. Credit transfer is available for students with identified equivalence in content and learning outcomes between matched qualifications. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also available for candidates who have previously attained skills and knowledge from outside the formal education and training system, including work and life experience. Students may apply for RPL or credit transfers for any unit in which they can successfully demonstrate competency.
Upon successful completion of the Certificate IV in Building and Construction, individuals may progress to the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) or other trade or building-related diplomas.
