The course is delivered over a period of 52 weeks, equating to 36 contact study weeks plus 16 weeks for holidays.
The course is delivered via blended learning at 20 hours per week, comprising 14 hours face to face in the classroom plus 6 hours of online study.
Students are required to have an English proficiency level equivalent to IELTS 6.0, or alternatively complete and pass the HIA English Assessment.
A total of 12 units of competency are required to receive this qualification, comprising 6 core units and 6 elective units.
Assessments will vary from unit to unit and may take the form of an open book theory assessment/activities, questioning, assignment, project work, practical activities in a simulated work environment, role plays, case studies, presentation, written reports or a combination of the aforementioned. Students are provided with a Student Assessment Booklet at the commencement of each unit of competency.
