About This Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
Or have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
For international students: all students must be over 18 years of age at the commencement of course.
English Language (International): Overall IELTS band score of 6.0 or PTE Academic English score of 47.
Applicants whose English results fall below the above score will need to enrol in an English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS).
English Language (Domestic): Achieved a pass result in level 3/4 VCE English or VCE ESL or equivalent.

How long does the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management take to complete?

The course will be delivered over a 78 week period of full time study, including course delivery, assessment, public holidays and break.

What are the fees for international students enrolling in this course?

For international students, the Tuition Fee is $13,000, the Admission Fee is $250, and Resources are $500 (including course material), bringing the Total Course Fee to $13,750 (excluding OSHC). Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is an additional cost: $408/year for a single student or $3,501/year for a family.

What assessment methods are used in this course?

Students will be required to perform in a range of areas including and not limited to: Short Answer Test, Case Study, Presentation, Practical Demonstration, Computer based activities and Written Examinations.

Can I get credit for prior learning or previous study?

Yes. Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) by providing evidence of required skills and knowledge through work/industry experience and/or completed eligible assessments. Appropriate credit transfer may also be granted against each unit of competency on evidence of successful completion of the same unit in an equivalent or higher nationally endorsed qualification. Students with credit transfers will finish the course in a shorter duration.

What English language requirements must international students meet?
