Students must complete a total of 12 units, comprising 6 core units and 6 elective units, to be awarded the BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business.
The course runs for 44 weeks in total, which includes 35 teaching weeks and 9 weeks of holidays. Term dates are available in the Institute's Academic Calendar.
Applicants are generally required to have an IELTS Overall score of 6.0 or equivalent. Lower scores may be accepted if packaged with ELICOS: a score of 5.5 is accepted with at least 10 weeks of ELICOS, and a score of 5.0 with at least 20 weeks of ELICOS. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL are also accepted if results are confirmed as equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
After completing the Certificate IV in Business, students may wish to continue their education into the BSB50120 Diploma of Business or other Diploma qualifications within the Business Services Training Package.
The course is delivered face to face in a classroom setting at Aventia Institute's campus located at Level 3, 57 Sanders Street, Upper Mount Gravatt, QLD 4122.
