The Certificate IV in Business has a total course duration of 30 weeks (including break), with a volume of learning of 610 hours. Training is conducted face to face on a full-time basis with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
International students applying for this course require either a minimum IELTS test score of 6.0 or equivalent for direct entry; or an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent combined with an ELICOS course of up to 10 weeks; or an IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent combined with an ELICOS course of up to 20 weeks. An Oxford Placement test score of 61 or higher (equivalent to IELTS 6.0) is also accepted. Results older than two years are not acceptable.
Successful completion of the Certificate IV in Business may enable the student to apply for BSB50120 - Diploma of Business.
Yes, Hawk Institute recognises qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations in Australia and offers all students the option of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer.
