About This Course

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have supervisory performance accountabilities. Individuals in these roles carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills. They use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Students must be above 18 years of age while filling up the application form.
A Pre-Training Review (PTR) will be conducted prior to enrolment to confirm the course is appropriate and aligns with the individual's current skills, learning needs, and future aspirations.
Applicants should have successfully completed year 12 or secondary studies in applicant's home country equivalent to Australian senior secondary school examination.
Mature Age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements if they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements. A minimum of 2 years' experience would normally be expected.
International students require a minimum IELTS test score of 6.0 or equivalent for direct entry into the VET course; or IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 10 weeks); or IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent with an ELICOS course (up to 20 weeks). Results older than two years are not acceptable.
Oxford Placement test with score 61 or higher is also accepted (equivalent to IELTS 6.0).
All students must undertake an LLND test prior to enrolment and achieve an expected performance level of ACSF level 3 for BSB40120.
Students must have basic computer skills. Students without basic computing skills will be provided basic support or may be referred to take computer training before enrolment.
Students must have access to a laptop or computer with Windows 7 operating system or higher for self-study.
Students must have an active email address and be contactable by phone and by mail.
