The total course duration is 30 weeks, including holiday breaks, with a volume of learning of 610 hours. Training is conducted on a full-time basis with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
The total course fee is $23,500, which comprises a Tuition Fee of $3,500 AUD and a Non-Tuition Fee of $20,000 AUD.
International students require a minimum IELTS (General) score of 6.0 for direct entry. Alternatively, an IELTS score of 5.5 combined with at least 10 weeks of ELICOS, or an IELTS score of 5.0 combined with at least 20 weeks of ELICOS, is also accepted. Equivalent scores from other tests such as PTE Academic (50), Cambridge English Advanced (169), or Oxford Placement Test (61 or higher) are also accepted. Test results older than two years are not acceptable.
Successful completion of the BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business may enable the student to apply for the BSB50120 Diploma of Business. Employment pathways include roles such as Administrative Officer, Administrative Team Leader, Assistant Business Analyst, Assistant Security Analyst, and Business Development Assistant, though no job guarantee is implied.
To achieve this qualification, students must complete 12 units of competency in total — 6 core units and 6 elective units. The core units include BSBXCM401, BSBWRT411, BSBCRT411, BSBTWK401, BSBWHS411, and BSBTEC404. The elective units are drawn from various groups including Group A, Group B, Group D, and Group J.
