The Certificate IV in Business (BSB40120) has a duration of 52 weeks, which includes 40 weeks of study and 12 weeks of holidays. Note that duration may vary if the student has applied for advanced standing and been granted credit transfer (CT).
Tuition fees are A$12,500 for both International and Domestic students. Additional fees include a Resource fee of $650 and a non-refundable Enrolment Fee of AUD $250 payable at the time of enrolment. International students are also required to hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their student visa.
International students must demonstrate English language proficiency with a minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no band less than 5.5, a Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 42 with no score less than 36, or a CAE score of 169. The test must be valid at the time of enrolment and completed within two years prior to the enrolment application date. Exemptions apply for citizens of the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or Ireland, and for students who have completed certain studies in Australia.
After completing this qualification, students may progress to Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Business Management, providing a clear pathway for further professional development in business.
Illoura College operates a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) approach. Students are required to bring and maintain their own laptop or computer. The minimum device requirements are: Windows 10 (Windows 11 preferred), an Intel i3 8th Generation or higher processor (or equivalent), minimum 8 GB RAM, Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to connect to reliable internet. Illoura College provides all current students with access to Microsoft 365 applications as part of their enrolment.
