Certificate IV in Business

The total course fee is AUD $10,800, plus a non-refundable enrolment fee of $500 to be paid on application. Non-tuition fees may also apply and can be found at www.ctic.com.au. Course fees do not include computer software or textbooks, which are to be purchased at the student's own cost.

The qualification is delivered over 52 weeks, including 36 weeks of training and assessment spread over 4 terms of 9 weeks each, and 16 weeks of holidays (4 weeks per term).

Assessment methods used for this qualification include projects, presentations, report writing, observations, and questioning (oral or written). At the beginning of each unit, trainers will outline the assessment tasks that must be completed.

Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience through credit transfer or recognition of prior learning. For international students, the granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course, and any changes will be advised in writing.

Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into a range of higher education qualifications in business administration and management.
