This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have supervisory performance accountabilities. Individuals in these roles carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills. They use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. Recognition of Prior Learning We offer everyone the opportunity to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) at enrolment. Students may be granted credit or partial credit in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or prior training. Pathways Upon successful completion of BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business, you may pursue BSB50120 Diploma of Business. Study Location CAC Sydney Campus – Level 3, 633 Princes Hwy, Rockdale NSW 2216 Course Structure Total number of units = 12 6 core units plus 6 elective units, of which: 2 elective units must be selected from Group A for the remaining 4 elective units: up to 4 units may be selected from Groups A – J if not listed, up to 2 units may be selected from a Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package qualification or accredited course. Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. Yes, you can request a deferral by speaking to Student Services. However, be aware that deferring may impact your ability to be granted a graduate work visa, so it is recommended you discuss your options with your migration agent or directly with immigration. Students requesting a Leave of Absence (deferral) or a Withdrawal after the census date will incur a financial liability for their tuition fees.
Theory classes are delivered live online via Zoom, so it is important to log on and participate. Students are also advised to stay on campus to complete assessments in a secure environment with modified arrangements where possible.
Any questions pertaining to your visa must be directed to the Department of Home Affairs and/or your migration agent. College staff are not in a position to advise on visa matters.
For all financial hardship questions, please contact Student Services immediately. They will put you in touch with the Accounts team who can assist you with your situation.
