This qualification will be delivered as full-time study over the course of 52 weeks, which includes 40 weeks of scheduled classes and 12 weeks of breaks/holidays. Duration may vary based on mode of delivery and/or RPL and Credit Transfer.
International students are required to have an IELTS band score of overall 6 (Academic or General) or equivalent in line with the Department of Education and the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) regulations. Learners are also required to be competent in written and spoken English and will undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy test prior to commencing the training.
Assessment methods for this qualification include written questions (e.g. multiple choice, true and false, question and answer), practical observations (e.g. third party report, simulated observation, presentation), and assignments (e.g. project, case study, written report). Work placement may also be applicable.
Yes. Orange College offers both Credit Transfer (CT) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Credit transfer is available if a certificate or statement of results is produced and verified. RPL is offered upon enrolment to all candidates and is an assessment process that assesses an individual's non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual has achieved the required learning outcomes or standards.
After successfully completing the BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business, students can pursue the BSB50120 Diploma of Business, or the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. Students may also be eligible to pursue any other AQF Level 5 qualification from any other training provider.
