Common Questions
The course fee for international students ranges from $14,100 to $14,520 AUD. Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials range from $300 to $1,000 AUD per course.
You'll have the opportunity to practise your skills in simulated settings on campus, including counselling rooms, drop-in centres, refuges and residential services, family meetings, and case management meetings. You'll also have access to a simulated workplace environment, A Indigo Community Services and Health Hub (a fictitious organisation), where you'll be exposed to clients with simulated goals to help you gain real world community service experience.
Upon completion, you'll be prepared for further study with the Diploma of Community Services. TAFE NSW also has partnerships with a number of Australian universities that offer guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students, and you may gain entry to other universities using your TAFE NSW qualifications.
