Common Questions
The course duration is 52 weeks (12 months), including a 40-week study period and a 12-week term break.
International students must demonstrate a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 overall or equivalent, OR a minimum of two (2) years of study at an AQF Level 4 or higher completed in Australia.
The Certificate IV in Community Services is offered at a total fee of $9,000 AUD for international students.
The course uses a Blended Learning Model, which includes classroom (face-to-face) sessions, self-study, simulated workplace activities, and online learning.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. However, working in the community services sector requires an individual to obtain a National Police Clearance and, in some States and Territories, a 'Working with Vulnerable People Check'.
