Common Questions
You will build practical experience in hand drawing, digital illustration techniques, 3D construction, digital design, working correctly with equipment, materials, products and various mediums, and producing digital presentations.
The course fee ranges from $10,925 to $11,470 AUD. Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials range from $300 to $1,000 AUD per course.
After completing this course, you can continue your studies through a TAFE NSW vocational pathway, a TAFE NSW degree pathway, or TAFE NSW–university partnership pathways. Specific progression options include the Diploma of Graphic Design and the Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design.
You must complete 7 core units plus 8 elective units. Of the elective units, 5 must be from the listed electives and 3 may be from the remaining listed electives or any currently endorsed training package qualification or accredited course.
TAFE NSW provides a range of support services including the Disability Support Service, Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) support, Careers, Counselling, and Pathways Service, Smarthinking (online tutor access), and LinkedIn Learning for online professional development courses and tutorials.
