The qualification is delivered over 52 weeks, including 40 weeks of training and assessment spread over 4 terms of 10 weeks each and 12 weeks of holidays.
Yes, the qualification requires that a work placement of 120 hours is completed as part of the program.
International students must have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through successful completion of a foundation course in Australia, at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO, education for 5 years in an English-speaking country, or successful completion of an English Placement Test. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted if equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
The course fee is AUD$11,900.00, with an additional Enrolment Fee of $200 and a Material Fee of $1,000. Note that intake dates and course fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services and a range of other community services related Diplomas.
