To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of vocational/fieldwork placement in a real workplace, as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
The total tuition fee is AUD 12,000, payable at AUD 3,000 per term over 4 terms. There is also a course materials fee of $800, a course application fee of AU$250, and optional fees such as an accommodation placement fee of AU$200 and airport pick-up fee of AU$200.
International students enrolled in this qualification are required to attend a minimum of 20 hours per week of scheduled contact hours, comprising 16 hours of classroom-based face-to-face delivery per week and 4 hours of compulsory e-learning administered via the MyPCT portal per week.
After completing this course, students may wish to further their studies with any one or more of the following qualifications at Pacific College: CHC43121 – Certificate IV in Ageing Support, CHC43415 – Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, CHC52021 – Diploma of Community Services, or other relevant undergraduate programs at other colleges and universities throughout Australia.
Yes, students must have completed either the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), or the CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set, prior to enrolling in this qualification.
