The Certificate IV in Disability Support (CHC43121) has a course duration of 104 weeks, delivered in blended mode (Face to Face + Online) across the Sydney or Adelaide campus.
Yes, students are required to complete at least 120 hours of supervised workplace placement to apply practical skills in real-world disability support environments.
For overseas students whose first language is not English, an overall IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required, OR students may pass an Abbey College Australia entry test designed to assess the level of English proficiency.
After completing CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support, students may progress to CHC52021 – Diploma of Community Services.
Students must have completed CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), OR CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), OR CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.
