The course fees include a Tuition Fee of AUD 10,800, an Enrollment Fee of AUD 250, and a Material Fee of AUD 349. Please note that student material fees do not include the cost of the workbook, which can be purchased separately from SCCM reception at an additional cost.
All students enrolled in this course must undertake 120 hours of work placement as part of the vocational placement requirement, as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.
Yes, students who have completed relevant studies or have some of the competencies in the course may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Applications can be made with the initial application or within two weeks of course commencement using the RPL Application Form and by providing supporting documents. Please note that RPL cannot result in an international student having less than a full-time load of study (20 hours per week), but it can reduce the overall duration of the course and fees.
International students must have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted provided results are equivalent to IELTS 6.0. Alternatively, English language competence can be demonstrated through being educated for 5 years in an English speaking country or through successful completion of an English Placement Test.
Assessments may include short written knowledge tests, discussions and oral communication demonstrations, case study exercises, written reports, web-based research and reports, final projects, and final written exams. To perform at your best, you will probably need to work on the assessments outside of class time.
